shell; vba; does this thing work or not!
 

I have 50 different permutations and I going to go watch Davidson
now. But how do you spin up this

\perl\bin\perl.exe c:\usr\md\ppd_dev\ssr.pl --socket rangefinder --bug

with excel's shell.

rtn = shell(MYSTERY_STRING_HERE, number)

I've commented, chr(34), not commented, prepended paths to EVERYTHING,
and not, and this thing will just not run. I've taken out the perl.exe
path counted on association, but no go there too. Usually I figure it
out right after I post :-), but I dont' think so this time.
