querytable connection fails in Excel 2007
 

I have an Excel file which contains a Workbook Open event that uses
querytable to query a text file and refreshes the data in the querytable in
the workbook. I have a shortcut on my desktop which opens this Excel file in
Excel. This method of opening the Excel file via a shortcut worked in Excel
2002 but not in Excel 2007. If I open the file in Excel 2007 via a shortcut,
I get the following error: "Method "connection" of object "_QueryTable
Failed". However, if I open Excel 2007 first and then open the file, I do
not get the error. Any thoughts?
