Recommend: object intermediate between Application and Project
At present there is no object intermediate between Application (Excel) and
Project. It would be nice if there were a new object, "Planet" under which would be Projects. Each Planet would have its own subset of Projects. Then if one booted up Excel, say holding down the Shift Key, one would be given the choice of which Planet he wished to open with. One Planet might be "Manage Stock Portfolio" which would include all the projects used in Planet "Manage Stock Portfolio". Another planet might be "Solve Quadratic Equations" which would include all projects and worksheets, etc for this planet. One would then have the capability of exporting modules from one Planet and importing them into the others if so desired. Obviously this is very useful when the functions of some Planets are totally unrelated to the functions of the other Planets. The only way to currently accomplish this is to have two separate installations of Excel which is very wasteful of resources. I hope this suggestion will lead to other suggestions leading to a more flexible Excel. Please feel free to let me know of other ways to accomplish this, or any questions you might have. -- May you have a most blessed day!
