Macros and VB in excel
So i need to run a little quick and easy macro in excel to help me with this
data i need to compile. Its somewhat hard to explain, but basically i need to figure out how to tell the macro to literally just hit the arrow right key, 4 times, instead of having it recognize specific cells. I have 30 workbooks with 30 sheets per workbook. Each sheet has the same 4x10 rows/columns filled out with their own unique data. I need to copy and paste these 4x10 blocks of data and paste them on a new sheet, stacking them horizontally. I can get the macro to copy and paste the first block of data, then switch to next sheet, but i cant get the new sheet, where i just pasted the data, to move over 4 columns to the right, to get ready for the next run of the macro to past the 2nd sheet of data. Does this make sense? If so, please offer any help you can. Thanks, -Adam |

Thanks, -Adam I'm not sure exactly how your macros lay out is, but assuming you want to toggle over 4 columns from the active cell, you can add this code to the end of your code before it goes to the next sheet. ActiveCell.Offset(0, 4).Select |

Well, you described a block as 4x10 row/columns which to me means four rows
down and ten columns across. However, you then imply that the block is really 4x10 columns/rows when you say you can't get the new sheet to move over four columns. GTVT06 gave you the basic code to move right four columns from where the active cell is. So if it is really 10 columns then you will need to modify that code expression.
