Specify chart template size
 

When I create a chart template in EXCEL 2007 and then use the template to
create a new chart, the new chart size is always a default 3.0" X 5.0". Even
if I 'Save As Template' at a specific size (e.g., 2.48" X 2.40") the new
charts are still generated at the default chart size (3.0" X 5.0")

The charts are worksheet objects, not chart worksheet tabs.

Is it possible to edit the CHART.xml file to specify the chart size? I've
found variables for PLOT area and distance from the edge of the chart but not
for the size of the CHART area.

Any ideas?
