does anyone know of the existence of a way of converting a GEDCOM (ancestor)
file into lists in an excel file or would someone mind helping me try to do
it?

Thanks for the reply Dan. I have tried to read the info in the site you gave
me. How do I run the gedcomreader code I can download from his site? I'm
asking here as I wonder how often he looks back at the site.
