Entering text in Excel cell
I'm entering various things that require a leading quote (Single quote or apostrophe). Excel stores the character but doesn't display it. Is there a setting to change or some other way to make it visible? Thanks - Kirk |
Entering text in Excel cell
What a cow of a problem! I can't change the data and add an extra apostrophe. Thanks for the link, sure is a mess and ticking the Transition box didn't help. I'll try changing every ' to a substitute character then change that back when it's out of Excel. I was only using Excel for ease of editing. I can't quite believe Excel would eat a character and stuff you up like this! Thanks - Kirk |
