Showing large image in Excel ribbon UI
 

I am trying to display a large image (same height as ribbon height and about
twice that for the width) in an Excel ribbon add-in. However, it appears the
only option I have is to use a button with a large image, which is not nearly
large enough for my purposes.

Does anyone know of any work-arounds to get the desired effect? Maybe a
non-ribbon add-in that shows up along side and that can be synchronized with
my ribbon add-in?
