Chart transparency

Is it possible to make a contour chart have a transparent series? I
understand that this is possible to do with bar graphs. Thanks.

The regions in a contour chart are formatted by formatting the legend keys
(colored boxes) in the legend. Double click on a legend key, then activate
the Patterns tab, and choose None for area fill (and perhaps also for line
or border).
