Graphing by seconds
I have a requirement where I need to graph data by seconds...Excels
graphing doesn't create a upward curve but as single vertical line. Can the x axis not be a metric of seconds? |

Under 'Chart Options', tab Axes', select 'Time-Scale' for the X-axis. If this doesn't do it then you might want to insert a column converting the time to whatever scale you want ... then chart this data. -Brian |

A time scale axis doesn't recognize increments smaller than one day. You
have to plot the data on an XY chart, not a line chart. Don't let the icons fool you, both line and XY charts let you plot data with or without lines, with or without markers. The difference is in the way the X axis treats its data. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Brian B." wrote in message ...
