removing a macro

We have an annoying virus-like macro that is attaching itself to book.xlt as
well as all worksheets files that are save within Excel.

It has proved successful by copying the affected files to a new file then
deleting book.xlt afterwards.

Now there is the task of finding all files that are affected with this
annoying macro as not to recreate it.

Question: is there a way to be able to search for Excel files based on a
name of the creator of the macro?

Question 2: If there is an easier process to remove this nasty macro,
please advise also. It should be noted that the 'delete' button is grayed
out in the macro setting box.

I am realising that this may have affected most of our Excel files...maybe
over a 100. So any assistance on how we may create a batch process that
would remove them all in all Excel files would be really apprecited.
