Not getting the values
 

Hi folks,
i haven't done excel programming for years but now i have to make a simple
excel add-in and getting mad.

My Code is:
Dim loginHttpRequest As XMLHTTP40
Set loginHttpRequest = New XMLHTTP40
loginHttpRequest.Open "GET", URL, True, LoginInfo.loginUid,
LoginInfo.loginPwd
loginHttpRequest.setRequestHeader "SOAPAction",
Configuration.MY_SOAPACTION
loginHttpRequest.setRequestHeader "MY_CALLER_APPLICATION_NAME",
Configuration.MY_CALLER_APPLICATION_NAME

loginHttpRequest.send

== until here the code runs well...
MsgBox (loginHttpRequest.statusText)
== This message box is empty although loginHttpRequest.statusText is
filled with a value

If i run this code in debug mode i get the value
If i run it without debugging the msgbox is skipped

If i try to get it into a String like tmp = loginHttpRequest.statusText, tmp
has as value "" after.

Has anyone had the same experience too and what did he do against it?
