Tool Tips on a new

Hi, all. Just a sillyone, but I have written several macros, and assigned
them to (new) buttons dragged to a toolbar. Everything works fine, but I
cannot see how to alter the Tool Tip/Screen Tip/Button Help (that appears
when the mouse hovers above the button). I would appreciate any ideas.

You didn't mention which version of Excel you're using, but I'll take
a shot in the dark with how to do this in Excel 2003:
1. Right-click over any toolbar area, and click Customize.
2. While the Customize window is up, right-click on the button in
question.
3. In the popup menu, type your tooltip text in the "Name:" text box.

I suppose other XL versions use a similar approach.

Thanks, Basilisk96. Problem is, I have the button labelled with it's name,
but I want the Tool Tip to be a brief explanation. For example, one button
is labelled "P1", (the 'Name' in your help), and the Tool Tip shows that too.
I would like the Tool Tip to show "Print Page One". I cannot yet find how to
get the two texts different.

Are they buttons from the forms toolbar, or the control toolbox. I have some
code which works with the latter.
