Series Number when Create Chart
I recorded a macro to create a line chart for my future chart creation. The
macro automatically gives a series number of the chart e.g. ActiveSheet.Shapes(€śChart 8€ť).xxx based on how many charts created on the same sheet in the past, even though the previous charts are all deleted. - How can I know the series number for the chart I am to create? - Can I get around this series number and have a customized name for the chart, so that I can work with it? This series number problem is true for adding a sheet. I need to know the series number before I can change the name of the sheet. e.g. Sheets.Add Sheets("Sheet1").Select Sheets("Sheet1").Name = "NewName" If a previous Sheet1 was deleted, then it would be €śSheet2€ť. How can I know which number it is? Any help is greatly appreciated! |

I would think you could right click on the chart and then click view code.
It should then display the properties window which would show the name of the chart. "Shiji Shen" wrote: I recorded a macro to create a line chart for my future chart creation.
