Hiding Windows Start bar

Is there a way from VBA in Excel to minimize or hide the start bar in your
windows? We are trying to go to true full screen with an application and
would like to have this hidden as well?

Thanks.

The code following my signature will allow you to do that. Simple issue this
command when you want to hide it...

Taskbar False

and this command to show it again...

Taskbar True

Sub TaskBar(blnValue As Boolean)
Dim lngHandle As Long
Dim lngStartButton As Long
lngHandle = FindWindow("Shell_TrayWnd", "")
If blnValue Then
ShowWindow lngHandle, 5
Else
ShowWindow lngHandle, 0
End If
End Sub
