Conditional Formatting help
Hello,
I am trying to do conditional formatting to change between three different color across the rows based on a column H. Column H has either 700, 800 or 900. If the rows has 700 in column H then the cells across the rows are highlighted in yellow, 800 in blue and 900 in orange. I did the conditional formatting for formula, it seemed to pick up only the 700 and 900 but not the 800. Maybe my formula is wrong. Anyway, here is my formula. The column H is a numeric field, but I can change to text, etc. if needed to. Thanks condition 1: Formula Is =$H2<800 ----- format hightlight yellow condition 2: Formula Is =$H2=800 ----- format hightlight blue condition 3: Formula Is =$H2800 ----- format hightlight orange |
Conditional Formatting help
If your number in column H is produced with a formula, it probably is
returning exactly 800. Try doing this condition 1: Formula Is =Abs($H2-800)<.001 ----- format hightlight blue condition2: Formula Is =$H2<800 ----- format hightlight yellow condition 3: Formula Is =$H2800 ----- format hightlight orange -- Regards, Tom Ogilvy "Cam" wrote: Hello, I am trying to do conditional formatting to change between three different color across the rows based on a column H.
