Excel 2003: Stop Screen flickering
 

Hi all

I have an excel report that has lots of reports onto its sheets. When
the sheet i activated, the sheet immediately queries a database to
retrieve values. Indoing so, the screen keeps flickering which the
users find quite irritating. Application.screenupdating=False is not
doing what I need. Any ideas?

Have you tried setting the calculation mode to manual before the query and
back to auto afterwards?
