I'm dragging multiple data columns in to a Pivot Table on at a time. On
about the fourth one I encounter problems. The behavior is different depending on the OS and Excel versions: Excel 2003 on XP: Excel generates a "Too much data" error and doesn't close Excel 2007 on Vista: Doesn't error but doesn't allow the data move...does nothing Excel 2007 on XP: Excel Errors and shuts down The problem for us is that our standard machine build is the latter. Yes, I know most will suggest not performing the action in the first place, but we manipulate a lot of data and frequently run in to this problem. Any ideas why Excel 2007 on XP would fail so non-gracefully and any ideas on what we can do to remedy the situation so that it just errors and doesn't close. Thanks, LD |
