Save Control To Userform Toolbox
Hello,
I'm wondering if it is possible to save a control from a userform to the userform toolbox so that it is available in all workbooks. I can copy a control to the toolbox and use it until I close the workbook, but after closing the workbook, it is no longer available. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Mac |

Save Control To Userform Toolbox
I have custom controls present in the toolbox for all workbooks. Try this, 1 Copy custom controls from userform to toolbox. (Workbook1) 2.Save the Workbook1. 3.Create new Workbook (Workbook2), Create Userform, Insert Custom control from toolbox to userform. (you may repeat) 4.Close the Old Workbook1. 5.Check the custom controls in the toolbox from Workbook2. You may need to repeat the above step. Save Control To Userform Toolbox
JLGWhiz,
Thanks for responding. I am referring to the Userform Control Toolbox. Shah Shailesh , Are your custom controls always available? I opened, inserted Userforms and cpied my custom control into several workbooks before closing the original workbook. Still no dice. I could swear I've done this before, successfully. I can't seem to do it now, though. Thanks for the suggestion. Mac |
Save Control To Userform Toolbox
You will probably have to copy the modified control box from one workbook to
the other. It is just as easy to copy the control itself. The difference is that with the tool box, only the properties go with the control, and when you copy the control, the code goes with it.
