Hi everyone,

Has anyone tried to develop an optimizer in VBA? Maybe something like
quadratic programming etc.

Checkout Solver in Excel Help. There are also may examples of New-Raphson,
Fletcher-Powell-Davidon, and other conjugate gradient methods available in
Excel.

Hi Gary''s Student,

Thanks for your response.

I know how to work with the solver, but i am specifically looking for
the implementation of the algo.
The second part where you mentioned about the methods available in
excel... where are they available?
