drop-down populated from external data
Is there a way to get a list box to have the values in it populated from an
external data source? |

You are more likely to get an answer if you say specifically what kind
of external data source. Hth, Merjet |

Sorry for not being more specific.
I am quering an Oracle database using the ODBC driver. I am assuming puting the data back in to a List object is the best way to do this but was hoping someone had a more elegant way.. if there is one.. to do this. I would like to use the validation drop down combo box Vs the normal combo
box, because the validation drop down list is self aligned to a cell. However the data source has to be on the same sheet itself, I think. Can the data source be an SQL statement. Is this possible? I would like to know. -- Sajit Abu Dhabi "hll" wrote: Sorry for not being more specific. I am quering an Oracle database using the ODBC driver.
