How to Export Excel Data for use in a Database Table
Good Morning All,
Picture a sheet that has names in cols. A:B and dates across row 9. One row is in between each name row. Actually, this in-between row is the 2nd data record for each name. The odd rows may strictly contain a comment for the people for the different days. What I'd like to do is have Excel export the names, dates, and comments (if not null) for the past 5 days, and import them into an Access table. In Access, 2 fields would be firstname and lastname, the other 5 fields would be the past 5 dates (including the current day), and the comments and the associated names would become the data in the table. The Access table should be named the current date: 08-06-07. Any help/insight would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Arnold |
