Sheet tabs - suddenly have navigation buttons...
 

Down the bottom and to the left of the sheet tabs.
4 navigation buttons, which don't work and I'm sure haven't beeen
there till now.

How can I get rid of them?? !

Hi kirk,

Those navigation buttons are always if sheet tabs are displayed (Tools
Options View). They work when one or more tabs become hidden under the
horizontal scroll bar. Also try right click on one of them.
