VB Window
I have messed up the VB window big-time. Code windows do not snap to the
docked windows (e.g. project explorer, properties etc.) If I maximise a code windows, it will use the full screen. If I reduce the size of the VB window, docked windows do not reduce. I have tried working with the menu path Tools/ Options/Docking but no luck. I'm missing something but what ?? Thanks, John |
VB Window
First thing to do is make sure the check boxes on the Tools/Options/Docking
dialog are checked (for my system, they are all checked except for the Object Browser). After you have checked them and OK'ed out, click on the title bar of the Project window and slide it over to the **left edge** of the VB main window. Look carefully... when you see the border you are dragging change from a thick line to a thin line, release the mouse button and the Project window should dock to the left side of the main window (from top to bottom). Next, click on the title bar of the Properties window and slide it to the **bottom** of the now docked Project window. Again, when you see the border outline you are dragging change from a thick line to a thin line, release the mouse button and the Properties window should properly dock within the area of the Project window.
