Run- time error 1004
 

I have the following

Range("Z4:Z5").Select 'Copies blank cells to Country,CustomerPart NO &
Contacts Email input cell

Selection.Copy
Range("AD10").Select
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues

Application.Goto Reference:="SubstrateStandard"
'This works where "SubstrateStandard" is cell Substrate1!S1

Sheets("Substrate1").Select
Range("S1").Select
'this will not work

Gives "Application-defined or object-defined error

Run- time error 1004
 

If your code is behind a worksheet, then Range("S1") refers to the sheet with
that code--not the Substrate1 worksheet.

with worksheets("substrate1")
.select
.range("s1").select
end with

or
application.goto worksheets("substrate1").range("s1"), scroll:=true

should both ok.
