Interactions between Communicator and Excel causing Macros to stop
I have macros within many excel workbooks that open files on another server,
extract the data I want and save it in my "master" workbook. They take a while to run because of network speed. I believe we've started to see an interaction with Communicator in that when we send IM's when the macro is running, the macro stops. Has anyone else seen this issue and what do you do to get around it (besides shutting down communicator) Thanks, Barb Reinhardt |

Barb,
Can't see how it would directly Excel/VBA related. If your network is slow already, could be the network just grinds to a halt. Need to configure the OSes/network better and/or upgrade something. The network is EXCEEDINGLY slow. That's why I started to learn how to use
Excel macros. I wish I could do something about it. Thanks, Barb "NickHK" wrote: Barb, Can't see how it would directly Excel/VBA related.
