How to disable cell entry ?
Hi naweed,
Thanks for your response. In Protect sheet I have all unchecked except FORMAT CELLS and SELECT UNLOCKED CELLS. I want SELECT UNLOCKED CELLS checked to be abble to change range color, but then you also can change the cell entry. Regards, Hans |
How to disable cell entry ?
This is not my experience.
I use Format | Format Cells opened Protection tab and unlocked all cells, then locked F1:F10 Then in Tools | Protection, I protected the sheet with these boxed checked: Protect Worksheet...., Select locked, Select unlocked, and Format Cells Now I cannot change any value in F1:F10 but I can format including changing colour. I am using XL2003 for this experiment best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "H@C0" wrote in message ... Hi naweed, Thanks for your response.
