cant sum the values in cells
Hi. I cant change properties of cells in a worksheet. I want to
sum the values of cells but the sum returns as 0. Why is that? Thanks Lot. |
cant sum the values in cells
The cells are probably text.
Format an empty cell as Number. Enter the number 1. EditCopy. Select the cells to be summed. EditPaste Special, check Multiply. Now they are numbers and you can sum them. -- Kind regards, Niek Otten Microsoft MVP - Excel "oercim" wrote in message oups.com... | Hi. I cant change properties of cells in a worksheet.
