Can you pin ribbon tabs in Excel 2007?

I'd like to be able to pin the ribbon tabs to stay on the current tab
when working on a task.

For example, if you are working on autoshapes with the formatting tab
open, then click a worksheet cell, it will revert back to the Home
tab. I'd like to be able to pin the formatting tab. A VBA solution is
preferred, but a manual solution would work as well.

Thanks,

Nick

Don't think this is possible, they are contextual, and MS insist that they
will control when they appear.

Thanks Bob.

That's kind of what I had expected. The IRibbonUI and related objects
seem extremely limited compared to the CommandBar counterparts, but I
was just hoping there was more to it than that.
