Can you pin ribbon tabs in Excel 2007?
I'd like to be able to pin the ribbon tabs to stay on the current tab
when working on a task. For example, if you are working on autoshapes with the formatting tab open, then click a worksheet cell, it will revert back to the Home tab. I'd like to be able to pin the formatting tab. A VBA solution is preferred, but a manual solution would work as well. Thanks, Nick |

Don't think this is possible, they are contextual, and MS insist that they
will control when they appear. -- HTH Bob (there's no email, no snail mail, but somewhere should be gmail in my addy) "Nick Hebb" wrote in message oups.com... Thanks Bob. That's kind of what I had expected. The IRibbonUI and related objects seem extremely limited compared to the CommandBar counterparts, but I was just hoping there was more to it than that. - Nick |
