Bob
Setting the enable property of the toolbar did not accomplish what I wanted. However, setting the visible property of the toolbar to false did accomplish what I wanted. The actual code is: Application.CommandBars("PivotTable").Visible = False You pointed me in the right direction. Thank You MIkeC "Bob Flanagan" wrote: Have you tried setting the Enabled property if the toolbar to false? This is a a permanent change, so you will need to turn it back on later.
