Check box in a text box?

I've been asked to put a check box inside a text box. Is this possible
in XL2000? If someone knows how, can you give me a pointer or two as
to how? Or is there some way to create something that looks like a
checkbox inside an editable box?

Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

Thanks in advance!

Check box in a text box?

follow the directions very carefully!!!!

1. draw a textbox

2. draw a checkbox (either one, forms or control toolbox)

3. drag the checkbox over to the textbox

4. click out of both

5. if you can't see the checkbox, right-click the textbox & choose
"order" & "send to back"

it won't TRULY be inside the textbox, but on top of it (2nd layer).

:]

Susan's procedure works, but there is a problem in that the checkbox
can hide some of the textbox text. You might be able to resolve this
by putting the checkbox at the end of the textbox and limiting the
number of characters allowed in the textbox (the Length property)--if
limiting the characters works for your situation.

If it was me, I'd argue against the whole idea. :)
