Does Excel has different behaviour than other application like MS-Word inm printing

Hi all,

Is MS-Excel is having any special behavior from other application like
MS-Word,...

I installed a printer driver as default driver, I found one
special behaviour in Excel. The Scenario is

1.Open a excel file, give ctrl+p and click the properties and save
the printing preferences by pressing OK.

2.Now save and close the Excel file.

3.Open the same execl file again and give ctrl+p and click the
properties ,it still retains the previous settings whatever saved in
last time.

This is noyt happening in MS-Word.why execl behaves diffrently, anty
help is appreciated

For us in this Excel group, that is the normal behaviour. It's Word that
different. <g

As to why, I guess that is the way MS wrote the 2 applications.
