hi
I could not do the following eventhough i searched for other postings
in the group.

i have to do 2 things
1.Suppose i enter in my "myfile", "sheet1" ABC123 in C4, it
has to serch in another closed workbook "ref123" for ABC123 in column
C and copy the relevent row to D5,D6,D7 of my "sheet1"

2.then copy Column C of file "myfile" sheet1 to sheet2 of
same workbook,but omitting the repeated rows in column C
