Is it possible to query from Excel an Access database saved on the server without having the Access application installed on the local PCs? Thank you. Filo |

I think he means you select DataImport External DataNew Database

I think, in the meanwhile, I've discovered that the userID also needed full access to the shared MSA dbase on the server (I'm sure other variations of security will do the trick, unfortunately don't have enough time to fiddle them).
