Bart[_6_]

formula help please

Use this:

G3:=SUM($A$3:G3)

If I understand correct: in A3 is the absolute amount on week 0. In
the other Columns are the differences made during every week. On the
right of the row you want the absolute amount calculated.

After one week passed you want to insert a Column and type in the
difference made that particular week. You want the calculation to
adjust to the changes you made by inserting a new column.

Success,

Bart

In cell G3 you type:

=sum($B3:F3)

With the '$' sign in the formula you prevent Excel changing the
formula on that part of the formula when copying it to other cells or
inserting columns. You could read the help files about this: search
for 'Reference' and find the help item 'Switch between relative,
absolute, and mixed references' (English version). Also you could
experiment with it to get a better understanding of these functions.

Good luck,

Bart
