Lotus 123 file
I am trying to open an old (very old) Lotus 123 file with excel 2003. The
file extension is .123. Excel gives me a message "Cannot open Lotus 123 file". Any suggestions? Are there other tools available that will do this? Thanks |

If you don't have 1-2-3 available and you don't have sufficient need to by a
standalone file converter, install the free Open Office (or the spreadsheet part of it at least). It can open .123 files and save them as XLSs. You posted in the Programming group and if by some slight chance that's because you want macros converted too, be aware that there is no macro converter for 1-2-3. -- Jim "Sandy" wrote in message ... I assumed you would use a search engine to find Open Office. You know,
