Block addition of ranges
 
then AFAIK, you're out of luck, unless you haul out the magic wand &
give it a wave.

the only thing you could do without using the clipboard is having
a 3rd exact-size range that has each cell say
=sum('sheet1!'v6+'sheet2!'v6)

"the only thing you could do"??!! Unless I misunderstand the spec, and
assuming that Rng1 and Rng2 are range names

=Rng1+Rng2 array entered into a third range of the same size.
