uninstalling an add in

I have an installer/uninstaller for my Excel add-in. However, after
uninstalling then opening Excel, a message appears indicating that an add-in
file is missing. If you click yes, then open the add-in window and un-check
the add-in it prompts you to delete the add-in reference since the file no
longer exists.

I would like to improve the uninstall so that it removes the add-in from
excel automatically.

Where does excel store its add-in information? Is there a file I can update
during uninstall to remove the add-in reference? I have looked through the
regedit file, but no luck.

thanks,

Hi Simon
Don't know if this will help but anyway:
In HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Excel\Options\
you will find some reference to Excel Add-ins inside a REG_SZ type named
OPEN*

Cordially
Pascal
