Muddled

Excell Alphabetizing & Sorting
 
When I try to alhabetize aan excell sheet I am working on, it says all merged
cells must be the same size. How is this overcome?

iI suppose that would work, Except that it would mean completely remaking my
sheet. Also I Know I have done this before-- Just don't recall how.

You have done it before?

Yes...........if all the merged cells in the sort range were the same size.

Excell Alphabetizing & Sorting
 
As a follow-up...........

Merged cells cause no end of problems and are best avoided.

For presentation purposes you can use Center Across Selection which won't
involve merging.

You can also take a picture of the area and superimpose it over a range.

If you use the Camera Tool found under ToolsCustomizeCommands you can take a
picture that will update as cell contents are altered.
