Excell Alphabetizing & Sorting
When I try to alhabetize aan excell sheet I am working on, it says all merged

iI suppose that would work, Except that it would mean completely remaking my

Yes...........if all the merged cells in the sort range were the same size. As a follow-up...........
Merged cells cause no end of problems and are best avoided. For presentation purposes you can use Center Across Selection which won't involve merging. You can also take a picture of the area and superimpose it over a range. If you use the Camera Tool found under ToolsCustomizeCommands you can take a picture that will update as cell contents are altered.
