Microsoft Query (sql server)/Excell 2007
I choose Microsoft Query from the Data ribbon and I get a Choose Data Sorce
window. I can figure out how to connect to a database or OLAP cube, but how do I create a new query in the "Queries" window? Do I have to create a T-SQL query somewhere else and store it where I can browse to it with this wizard? |
Microsoft Query (sql server)/Excell 2007
I figured it out, but there are a lot of aspects of Microsoft Query that
remain cryptic, ex: the SQL builder does not allow outer joins in querys that have more than one table. On what planet? Planet Excell apparantly. I'm wondering if there are any books or papers on using EXCELL 2007 with SQL Server. Thanks. "Johnslg" wrote: I choose Microsoft Query from the Data ribbon and I get a Choose Data Sorce window.
