Tooltip on Macro Button on Toolbar
Two questions:
I have created a macro and assigned it to the smiley (the only one available) button on my toolbar. The tooltip currently says "Custom Button". I want it to say "Change to text". 1. How do I change the tooltip to say "Change to text". 2. Also, how do I get more buttons to choose from? I remember being able to choose a from whole bunch in the past (i.e heart, club, folder, etc). Where did these go? -- -Kaman The IT dept people call before they call the real IT dept. Office 2K3 |
Tooltip on Macro Button on Toolbar
hi,
right click any toolbar. from the popup select customize. when the customize box come up, silect you smiley face and a second pop up will appear. read down to change button image. here you can select another button face. there is another selection - edit button image. here you can create your own custom buttons (if you're good with bitmaps). the tool tip is just the name of the button. on the same pop up, select name and edit. Duh...I remember now you need to be in the customize mode. I kept trying to
right click the button in normal mode. Must be too close to the work....I knew this...I hang my head in shame... -- -Kaman The IT dept people call before they call the real IT dept.
