set macro security to low does not save the setting
Hi
I have an excel macro which when I can open fine on my machine with no enable macros' prompt. On other machines Excel keeps prompting me whether I want to enable macros even though on the macro security option I have set this to low. When I check this setting it has gone back to medium! Is there a way to permanently set macro security to low on other users machines? Thanks Kay |
set macro security to low does not save the setting
You mean you somehow trying to change the Security setting on other machines
with code ? But it is not working ? If the user wants the setting at low, they can change it themselves. Otherwise, bad luck. Or maybe look into signing your code. set macro security to low does not save the setting
Hi Nick, not even in VBA, on the options menu on all users Excel I am
clicking low security but everytime I open the spreadsheet on the machines it defaults back to medium which prompts to enable macros - right pain! I am starting to believe this may be a windows version option |
