One text box for multiple cells
I am automating a worksheet that has been meant to fill in by hand.
The worksheet was formatted with sections that are about 9 columns wide and 5 rows high. The columns are merged so that it is like 5 long cells. Each with bottom borders. (Makes it look like lined paper) This section is for writing in comments. How can I create a userform that will insert text into this space. Can I have a text box that will input text into the cell until it is full then move down to the next cell? How about having several text boxes on a form and as the user types once it reaches a predefined limit it jumps down to the next box? Let me know what other information I can give to help. This one has me stumped. |

Place a Textbox on a userform
Set in the Tetxbox properties the MAX Length of charaters place a button on the userform to set for eg.: sheet1.range("A1:I5").value = textbox1.value You may be able to also add in the Textbox code some thing like: If textbox1.maxlength =80 then textbox2.setfocus end if To take the user from one textbox(when full) to the next Corey....
