SORT (Excel) doesn't work in a column created from a LOOKUP functi
I've created a column of data with each cell's content from the addition of
values in other cells. I have another column using the LOOKUP function for data from specific cells in the column noted above. I want to now SORT this LOOKUP column of data in an ascending manner. The SORT function does not do anything. WHY? |

If your only sorting the column with the lookup function, all of the data
that it refers to is still there and you probably will get the same thing. If you sort a larger range (including the Lookup Value), you should see it sort.
