Toolbars & Macro Buttons on then

Hi

I'm on XL 2000. XL opens automatically when I start Windows but the
Formatting toolbar has started to lodge is at the right hand end of the
Standard toolbar instead of beneath it.

Also, several buttons for running macros that I put on the formatting one
have disappeared, and disappear again when I put them back.

Is it possible to lock the toolbar in place & keep the extra buttonsn it?

TIA

Tim

Right click on the command bar and select customize at the bottom of the
popup. Go to the options tab and select "Show Standard and Formatting
toolbars on two rows." that should help you other problem as well.

The only choice there is "Standard & Formatting toolbars share one row" which
wasn't checked.

Is there something else that may help?

I didn't have xl2000 available at the time, so I gave you the situation in
xl2003. After reading your response, I checked on xl2000 (which I now had
access to) and it was as you describe. However, it worked fine for me.
When I had it checked. both were on one row. When I unchecked it, they went
to separate rows.
