saving excel workbook as csv format?
 

Hello everyone!

Anyway I ve been trying to save this excel workbook into csv format
but it always come up with:

book1.csv may contain features that are not compatible with CSV (comma
delimited). Do you want to keep the workbook on this format?

to keep this format, which leaves out any incompatible features, Click
Yes.
to preserve the featurs, Click No. Then save a copy in a latest excel
format.
to see what might be lost click help

I hope some kind hearted person will help me with this. I badly need
to save it as CSV format.

Ignore the message. It says MAY. Save the data. Then open the file and
check if the data is correct.

Save your workbook as a normal .xls file.

Then save the workbook as a .csv and ignore the warning message--since you
already have that .xls file saved.

CSV files are plain old text files. So by saving as a .CSV file, you're losing
formulas, formatting, page setup and all that stuff.

And if you want to check how your CSV file turned out, open NotePad and then
File|Open that CSV file. Don't use excel to check the CSV file.

still having no luck in it! I did what you to advice me but still
can't upload it on eBay Turbo Lister!!! Please help me further!

Is the problem with the upload to eBay or with excel?

If it's with eBay, then I can't help--maybe someone else will chime in if you
explain the problem.

If it's excel, you'll want to explain what the problem is--lots of people may
jump in.

Well first of all. I download this file from my supplier and then
unzip it and import to excel and its absolutely fine. But i need it
into csv format so thats my problem because i tried saving it as csv
(comma delimited) but it says

So i still save it as CSV but everytime i open it into NOTEPAD it
doesnt come up right. And also i tried to upload it to trubo lister
but its not accepting it.

You know that you can ignore that message when you save it as a .csv file (if
you don't care).

But you'll have to share what you see in Notepad and why it's wrong for Turbo(?)
Lister. (I have no idea what that is.)
