DDE - Chart.Wizard does not work in Office 2007
In the access program (97,2000,XP, 2003) I was using DDE commands for sending
data to Excel and creating charts. For the chart I was using Chart.Wizard which is faster than defining property by property the chart values. In 2007 this command is not executed. I don't receive an error but it does not work. Is this command not available in 2007 ? Has it been replaced by sth else ? |

Chris, I have run into the same problems with chart wizard and 2007. I
create charts now using code like: Charts.Add ActiveChart.ChartType = xlLineMarkers ActiveChart.SetSourceData Source:=tempR, PlotBy:=xlColumns ActiveChart.Location Whe=xlLocationAsObject, Name:=tempR.Parent.Name where I have defined tempR as a range variable for what is to be plotted Bob Flanagan Macro Systems 144 Dewberry Drive Hockessin, Delaware, U.S. 19707 Phone: 302-234-9857, cell 302-584-1771 http://www.add-ins.com Productivity add-ins and downloadable books on VB macros for Excel "chris" wrote in message ... Thanks a lot Bob for your message. I will try it. I hope is as fast as
