Macro for recording current time into other cell
 

Hi,

I am looking to create a macro to register a time into a particular
cell:

For example my cursor is into active cell that is protected with
password so that no one can edit the cell for security reason, i want
to put only links for the cell where value should be pasted.

Lets say, the cursor is in active cell (c2), when i click on macro the
value should go into a2, and c2
cell should be blank, so that i can put links there.

If anybody knows this macro please help on this.
