Attached templates become spreadsheets
I am not sure this is the correct forum for this question, but I do not know
what is. Using Outlook Web Access, I receive as email attachments Excel templates with the extension ".xlt" The name listed in the email's attachment list is correct. However, when I download the template (using the Save Target As within Internet Explorer), the document somehow becomes a spreadsheet with the .xls extension. If I access the email using AOL this problem does not occur (but others do). Any ideas about how to track down the problem? Or any suggestion for a more appropriate forum? Thanks |
