How do I stop chart dialogs from appearing

I have used the standard :
Application.DisplayAlerts = False and also
ThisWorkbook.Charts.Application.DisplayAlerts = False
in an attempt to stop the "Logarithmic - chart" dialog from appearing, to no
avail.
Does anyone have a solution that will prevent the chart dialogs from
appearing?
